The Joy of Work

We all want a happier life, right? We all do. This is why we spend our time finding the ways to have better lives.  Actually there is no time in life when one can be free and enjoy the life. By this line I mean that being free does not own us joy.

This is what Rabindranath Tagore, one of the finest Indian writers say,

“I slept and dreamt of joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy”

If one tries to find the joy by being free, this will put him in the condition with no joy. Life will be meaningless without work. Have you ever tried to sleep at night when you are on the bed whole day and watching movies and eating popcorn and burgers? I tried that but I failed. I was not able to sleep as I was not tired.

Eating dinner cooked by ourselves has a different taste and we enjoy it far more than those ordered pizzas. Am I right?

I always listen that hard work is the key to success. Actually we work hard whenever we like the work. As I stated earlier that finding you passion will not get you to it. Just keep on you daily works will find you your passion.

Someone achieves success whenever he/she works hard. They work hard because the like their work and knows the meaning of work before happiness.

Working is the only thing in the world that will provide all the things together that you cannot get any other way. Working will provide you with money, happiness, success, fame and all the thing you have dreamt of.

Just think and act. The cards are in your hands now..!!

MIRRORS OF LIFE

I have been making mistakes since my childhood and I have made so big and big mistakes that I think no one else have made it. But I didn’t stop working. My mistakes taught me to be wiser day by day. Now when I am a bit wiser than earlier, I know what is good and bad for me but my temptations drag me towards them.

I used to think too much about my life but day by day as the time changed, I actually understood the way the life is to be lived. We all have a different lifestyles and I am not saying that any lifestyle is bad but what we actually do reflect our life. That is our everyday actions reflect our life. The actions don’t just tell other about us but also tell ourselves about us.

I have heard many people saying that don’t stop until you find your passion. But I don’t think that all of them know how to find it. The point is to stop finding it. Just do your everyday tasks nicely, your passion will automatically come to you. Whenever we try to find our passion by ourselves, we ignore many things saying that it’s not our passion and the thing that ultimately happens is that we really sit without actually trying the things out.

So what I want to say is we should take care of small things, bigger ones will themselves fall in line. Building are also made with bricks and oceans with drops. Remember, people die but legends live. The things you do today will reflect your life tomorrow. Our today’s actions will become the mirrors of our life that will reflect the outcome of our life tomorrow. Nobody wants a dull future. We all want a good and bright future. Do not do anything that we will have to regret tomorrow.

Be a legend that people should remember us.

RECOVERING LIFE

Since many days i was very busy with my studies. I have to study a lot as i am a science student. Specially wave optics require your  full concentration. And when physics ,chemistry are both mixed with maths, it makes a person fully indulged in them. Usually a science student does not have time for life.As my blogs suggests, i am in very much in love with the nature. Whenever i get time, I rush to a natural beauty and have my life on track. Nature for me acts as a stress buster. If i have a choice to choose from watching an oscar winning movie and visiting a place with nature's blessing, i will undoubtedly choose visiting the place.

Today, i went to a local garden in Patiala. Its called Baradari garden. Its pretty old and because of this reason there are many big trees with huge trunks. I sat on a table and saw a squirrel coming towards me. I think she saw a nut neat my foot. Firstly she hesitated, but then she understood that i mean her no harm. She came near me, took the nut and run quickly away from me. I loved the scene.Whenever i see perfection in nature, it reminds me of the perfectionist, the almighty. And then there is all praise for him.

I got these beautiful snaps for you from the garden

3 Ways to have a Good Sleep

Sleeping is one of my favourite activities. We all need at least 7-8 hours of sleep daily. But in this thing, I am a little lazy. I sleep for at least 9-10 hours a day. Sleeping is vital for our physical as well as mental health. I think of no other better way than a good sleep to relief stress. It refreshes us.

Lack of sleep can cause many problems. Be it mental or physical. Sleep deprivation will lead us to aching muscles, confusions, memory lapses or loses, headaches or even obesity. You don’t want to be fat, right? Well, don’t worry, a good sleep will ensure that you are always away from these type of problems.

Well, in this article I’m going to tell you my very own ways to have a good sleep. Here we go,

The ways

Ø  Decrease your smartphone brightness

While using your smartphone in bed, keep the brightness low. This thing will surely affect your                      sleeping intensity. It has also been scientifically proven that reducing your smartphone brightness will              affect your sleep. I have been using this method long before it was proved useful.so I recommend
             this to you also.

Ø  Listen to soft music before going to bed

We all love music. It can also affect our sleep. I cannot sleep without my headphones in my ears. Well, I use the feature of “Auto off Music”. After I am in a good sleep, it itself turns off. This I think can really work for those who are unable to sleep due to depression and stress. Music is the great remedy to stress and depression.

Ø  Sleep between 10 pm to 4 am

Let me say that this is the best time to sleep. Its been scientifically proven that people with orderly sleep habits are more likely to live longer. Everyone of us wants to live longer. As an advantage of getting up early in the morning we can have a great environment for meditation.

Conclusion

These are some of my own ways for getting a good sleep. It ensures me a perfect day. I am always full of energy at work. Follow these simple rules and you will never be noticed for yawning at the office. You might have a different art of sleeping. Please do share it with us in comments……

THE ULTIMATE DESTINY

Here I am writing about one of the most important topic of life.  What is our ultimate destiny? Why are we here on the earth? Who sent us here? These questions come to everyone’s mind.  Right?

Well, the answer is very simple. Almost all the religions in the world share same basics. The most common is that God is one and he is perfect. The basics teach us to have a good, honest life. As God, the almighty created all this universe, including us therefore we all are his creation and the reason behind this is unknown and whom so ever tried to know this have failed with very big margin.

We are all the sons and daughters of God.  Right? That’s why he loves us so much. He created us, loves us, fulfil our needs, listens to our wishes.

We go to church, temples, gurdwaras, mosques, etc . There we pray to him. He is the treasures of all good things. He is immortal. He is not afraid of anyone. He is not enemy to anyone. He is the creator of all. He takes care of his creations. He was and will still be there when no one else will be there. He is out of our imagination.

So here is the answer, our ultimate goal is to be like him. So now the question arises. How can we be like him?  As we all know that practise makes men perfect. If we want to be one top of anything it takes a lot of hard work and dedication. Here are some simple ways to win the game.

The ways

ü  Before doing anything, remember God

Before doing anything remember the perfectionist. Remember, he is perfect in everything. Making him as your teacher will ensure your victory everywhere. He will always be there as your coach to support you.

ü  Be honest with yourself

Its only us with whom with we are playing the game. To win the game we should not let ourselves cheat us. So being honest to ourselves will ensure that we do not cheat ourselves. If we cheat, it will ultimately lead us to lose the game.

ü  Search within yourself

Search within yourself for the good. The good always win over the bad. We all like it when the hero beats the villain. So when you search within, you will find your inner strength to overcome obstacle and make way to be good and you will make it near to destiny.

ü  Love everyone

Loving everyone equally will take us very near to the destiny. It is one of the qualities of God. Loving someone makes us happy and the person whom we are loving will also be happy. Remember one thing. God lies within all of us and loving someone means we are loving god.

ü  Love yourself

Loving yourself will give you strength to make yourself  win the game. You will focus on your steps.

ü  Believe in yourself

Believing in yourself will boost your confidence and your probability to win the game. If you ever come across an obstacle remember why you started you journey and challenge that obstacle.

Conclusion

Follow these simple ways and you will soon realize your inner strength. Remember, many         come to the world but only few of them wins the game. The choice is yours…!!

7 Habits that Will Make You Happier, Healthier & Way More Likeable

Happiness — I want it, you want it, we all want it. Just the fact that you’re reading this , you and I are on a similar path—seeking for those nuggets of wisdom that will bring us more peace, joy, and personal fulfillment.
So if you’re looking for ‘change’, if you want more joy and fulfillment out of life, here are 7 qualities that, for me, have made all the difference:

1. See the World in the Form of a Question

Whether you are looking to make new friends, achieve success with a client, or even raise your general awareness—the skill of asking questions has in many ways been lost in our society. We’re so busy to tell, tell, tell that we forget to ask, ask, ask. And as we all know, the only way to become a great ‘learner’ is to ask questions. Questions resolve concerns. Questions elevate personal relationships. They also at times force us to take a different perspective and possibly stretch ourselves to unchartered waters. So learn to have an ‘ask first tell second’ personality and I can promise you the results will be profound.

2. Give Specific Feedback/Compliments

We’ve all heard that learning to give compliments to others has a powerful impact on personal relationships. But for those that truly want to take compliments to another level the key is to learn specificity. For example, which statement would you rather hear from someone else?
I really enjoyed your blog article today.
Or
I was blown away with the story you shared in your blog article about the time you……That story very much resonated with me and I’ve decided to take action because of it!
See the difference? Both statements expressed approval of a blog article, yet the first statement likely made the author smile a little while the second brought about a huge grin. This is the power of specificity and is a critical key to happiness, especially in dealing with friends and loved ones.

3. Don’t Just Let Go of Your Physical Health

I see it all the time. Guys and gals (including many bloggers) attain great monetary success in work but all of the sudden they’re out of shape, overweight, and struggling with self-image. Knowing my busy schedule as a business owner and father of 4, a year ago I bought an elliptical and put it in my basement so that I wouldn’t have to include ‘going to the gym’ into my extremely busy schedule. The results? I’ve worked out 1 hour a day since buying the machine, never missing a workout, and I weigh less now than I did in high school. (and feel great too!)

4. Give Value to Others at Every Turn

Wow has the internet been a blessing in this area. Now, more than ever, you and I can meet and help people on a large-scale basis because of the beauty of technology. Some of the greatest success I’ve been able to achieve in these last year has come because of stories, articles, and mentions I’ve made praising other people and companies. As Chris Brogan says, we should mention (talk about) other people 12 times to every 1 mention of ourselves if we really want to give value and build relationships.

5. Smile Unrelenting

I know, I know, we’ve heard it before: We should smile often. But as the old saying goes, ‘common sense is often quite uncommon.’ Seriously though, are you the person in your group of friends or workplace that is known as ‘Mr. or Ms. Positive’ or are you the person that everyone sees as having a cloud over your head 24/7? I used to have a problem of not smiling enough. For me, it wasn’t that I was unhappy, it was just that I have the tendency to look serious when I’m focused on a task. Since identifying this problem (people kept telling me to lighten up) I try to carry a smile with me in all situations, and wow has this made an incredible difference. So smile often. Lighten up every room you enter. Not only will you be happier, but many will file in line with you as well.

6. Stop Trying to Find Your Passion

Let me be the first to say that I’m all about ‘finding your passion’. But the problem with most people is that they get so wrapped up in ‘finding themselves’ or ‘finding their passion’ that they forget how this discovery is actually made: By Living Passionately. In other words, if you want to find out where your true passions lie, stop looking and simply start living everything you do throughout the day with passion and zeal. By so doing, self-discovery will come naturally and easily.

7. Surround Yourself with Greatness

I simply can’t stress this one enough. Everyone needs a mentor. And we certainly all need great friends. I would be a completely different person and be on a completely different path than I’m on today had I not had people and friends in my life that helped correct my course when I got off track. I’ve learned over the years that it’s important that we not only find these friends but we learn to depend and lean on them when necessary. As others lift us up, and as we reciprocate this action, the friendships we’ll form will truly be amazing.
So there are 7 keys to health and happiness that have completely changed my life over the past year. But what about you? What are your thoughts and what would you add to the list? C’mon, let’s talk about it……
